I am a theatre nerd. The first 3 years of my life after I graduated from university was spent backstage at the Magic Theatre in San Francisco. I wanted to pursue a life in the dramatic arts, but then bills had to be paid and here I am drowning in project plans. When I lived in London for a summer I went to the theatre every week to see something. Student tickets or standing room only tickets are so cheap there. The US needs to learn how to make theatre affordable for everyone.
