Ok, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m *NOT* a big fan of where Disney seems to be going these days, but you’re right, that’s completely over the top.

California Adventure was finished while I was still living in Laguna Niguel, but we never went. It kinda wasn’t what Disney was about to me. Even when we went to WDW this summer in Florida the only parks we went to were Magic Kingdom and Epcot, I really had no interest in the rest of it. (Nor did I have the money, the Disney attraction tickets are quite literally twice the cost of every other attraction down there)

Walt’s dream is dead, it’s all about money now.

I have to disagree with you on Glowfest. We always have fun at it. Babito loves to dance. I never noticed any drunk or out of control people. Maybe we’ve just been lucky.

As for the walkway between Hollywood and Bug’s Land, it was closed because they are 1)making it a permanent path, and 2)putting in the tracks for the Red Car Trolleys.

What a bummer. Most of those extra special parties in Disney World are in designated areas built for just the thing. Or they do it after normal park hours so as to not disturb the regular guests. That is a bummer.

Downtown Disney here in Orlando can be like that, as can Universal Citywalk, but they also close parts of it down to anyone under 21 after 9 or 10 at night.

What makes most festivals tolerable for me are the beer gardens where adults can be corralled to get boozy together. Cups of beer or booze are not allowed beyond the fence preventing underage teens getting a hold of alcohol and obviously you must be 21 and over to get in. Glow Fest … is not a beer garden. It is open to all. People are walking around the park with booze filled neon colored glasses. Who knows if the drunk dude with facial hair is really 21 or just a teen with out of control testosterone. I didn’t bring Princess D to witness this behavior. It is disappointing and could really get them into a lot of trouble. If Walt ever gets defrosted he would fire everyone that came up with this horrible concept. Badly done, CA Adventure.
